Tips for the Trip:
The Mongaup Rapids, created by the extra flow of the Mongaup River letting into the Delaware River, are a roller coaster set of rapids and the best on the Delaware River. Stay far left just before entering the Hawk’s Nest region to catch the standing waves at Butler’s. This short set of rapids are sure to thrill. Ride the waves as you travel under the Millrift Railroad Bridge or locally known as #2 Railroad Bridge, once used for the Erie Railroad. About 1 more mile and you’ll see our landing on the right and your adventure is complete.
