At Indian Head Canoes – Knights Eddy, we offer one of the most scenic and authentic ways to experience the Upper Delaware River. Located right along the river near Knights Eddy in Sparrow Bush, New York, our location has been a favorite launch point for generations for rafting, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and riverside camping.
Transportation is provided for your convenience. Depending on your river trip, we can either take you to the start of your trip so you can leave your cars at the take-out location or pick you up at the end of your trip and safely return your group to your vehicles.
River Trips for All Experience Levels
We specialize in self-guided river trips that range from easy, beginner-friendly floats to more adventurous whitewater trips:
- 3-Mile Beginner Float — A relaxing trip ideal for families, first-time paddlers, and tubing.
- 6-Mile Knights Eddy to Matamoras — Offers some of the best whitewater on the Delaware River, with Class II rapids spaced throughout the run. This stretch typically takes 3 to 4 hours in a raft, providing a perfect balance of calm water and adventure.
All guests can take their time on the river and enjoy the day, with river access until 6 PM.
All trips include quality boats, required safety equipment, transportation, and local guidance to make your experience easy, safe, and enjoyable.
