At Matamoras, we specialize in self-guided river trips for families, beginners, and experienced paddlers:

6-Mile Knights Eddy to Matamoras — One of the most exciting whitewater trips on the Upper Delaware, featuring Class II rapids. This stretch takes an average of 3 to 4 hours by raft or 2 to 3 hours by canoe or kayak, making it a perfect half-day adventure.

9-Mile Pond Eddy to Matamoras — A full-day river adventure, averaging 4 to 6 hours by raft. This longer trip is ideal for canoeing and kayaking, letting paddlers enjoy a full day on the river while navigating scenic flatwater stretches and thrilling rapids.

All guests can take their time on the river and enjoy the day, with river access until 6 PM, when boats need to be returned.

All trips include quality boats, required safety equipment, transportation, and expert local guidance, ensuring a safe, fun, and memorable river experience for paddlers of all skill levels.
